ON THE INTERNATIONAL WATER DAY
On March 22nd 2019, NJV Athens Plaza celebrated the World Water Day by lighting up the exterior of our building with water colors and, in this way supporting the world-wide campaign “Leaving no one behind”. Also, all of our Guests were informed of the day’s message through the United Nations video which was screened at our Hotel lobby.
ON THE EARTH HOUR
On March 30th 2019, we symbolically participated in the global campaign “Earth Hour”, by extinguishing the exterior lights of the hotel, lobby and Plaza Café from 20:30 to 21:30.
ON THE EARTH DAY
On April 22nd 2019, we participated actively in the Earth Day, by informing our Guests about both the actions that are taking place on that day and also the protection of all the species of the planet.
ON THE WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
Environmental protection is a core pillar of our “ETHOS” CSR Programme, integrated into the way we do business as a hotel. We honor the 5th of June 2019 as the “World Environment Day” and we will continue to commit ourselves to serve our social and environmental goals.
ON THE INTERNATIONAL SUSTAINABLE GASTRONOMY DAY
The international Sustainable Gastronomy Day highlights sustainable production, food safety and healthy diet. Our Hotel, certified for its sustainable operation, celebrated this day on June 18th 2019 by exploiting any opportunity to support local producers and to offer Greek recipes with local ingredients and traditional techniques.
