Ancient Agora
The Ancient Agora, located on the northwest side of the Acropolis, was during antiquity the administrative, financial, educational and philosophical hub of Athens. The most important monuments in the Agora are: Poikili Stoa, Temple of Hephaestus, Mitroo, Tholos, Stoa of Attalos, Bouleuterion and the Altar of the Twelve Gods.
